Bluebonnet Acres Subdivision is located off of Hwy 71 East. It can be accessed from Hwy 71 East on Union Chapel or either off of Hwy 71 East at the intersection of South Pope Bend. This subdivision is comprised of site built homes, farms, mobile homes and businesses. Most homesites are on at least an acre of land. The majority of the homesites contain cedar and oak trees. Bluebonnet Acres is the home of Bluebonnet Fire Department. This fire department is located on one of the major streets, Stillforest. Parties, neighborhood meetings, bar-b-ques and holiday gatherings are always found at the the fire department hall. This subdivision is also the home of Optimal Heath Center based out of California. Residents of Bluebonnet Acres are of all ages. The homeowners maintain a neighborhood watch program . This subdivision also has a lake and park for homeowners to use. On weekends or summer evenings you can find parents out at the lake with their children. This neighborhood is across from the Hyatt Resort and the LCRA McKinney Roughs.
