I am Thressa Skidmore.  I have 2 children, ages 18 and 16.  My husband's job transferred us to Central Texas in 1995 from East Texas.  We did not think we could love another area as well as we loved living in Huntsville.  The area was very different from what we were use to.  However, it did not take us long to discover there were many more activities to do here.  Before long we loved this area.  Our children have attended Bastrop Independent School District since Kindergarten.  They are both currently attending Bastrop High School.

I am very active with all of my children's extracurricular activities.  My daughter, Ashley is active in National Honor Society, Softball and Golf.  My son, Brandon is also the outdoors type and loves 4-wheeling, fishing and gardening.  He also participates in Special Olympics. 

 I have been a Licensed Texas Realtor for 20+ years.  A few years ago, I decided to become a Real Estate Broker.   I also have a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University.  Some of the best advice, I received in college, was to get some type of license or degree in which you could always fall back on.  The advisor told me "make sure you always have a backup plan for work".  I enrolled in several real estate classes and decided I really did like the business and the socializing with others.  After a year or so, I decided to get my Real Estate License.  I realized that this is the business for me and I LOVE IT.  My heart and passion is helping others.
